TC will not quit

Over the weekend, across the internet and twitter, rumours began to emerge that Terry Connor had quit as Wolves gaffer.

Usually rumours like this, especially over twitter would be dismissed as quickly as they were read, but on this occasion, many would have been forgiven for reading it and wondering if it could be true.

Lets face it, after the farce that following Mick McCarthy's sacking, why would yet another twist be anything out of the ordinary?

As it turned out it was, Connor is not interested in stepping aside after just three games and Wolves are not interested in going back to Steve Bruce to beg him to come to Molinuex after all.

This is our managerial marriage, till death do us part, in sickness and in health, in Premier League survival or Championship oblivion.........

"I`m no quitter.'

"I`ve been here 13 years and I`ve never quit, have I? I don`t know where people got that idea from, but it couldn`t have been anyone who had any remote idea of what I`m like." TC told the Express & Star.

He continued: "I just come to work and get on with it. I know where I am and I know what I`ve been asked to do so all that (rumours) doesn`t affect me one iota.

"I focus on my job and my job at the moment is to make sure we stay in the Premier League.
