Johnson in contention for return
Wolves skipper Roger Johnson is in contention to regain his place back in the Wolves team.
The 28-year-old has not played since Mick McCarthy's departure, with Terry Connor previously leaving him on the bench.
If their relationship was difficult before, it certainly wasn't helped when Johnson reported for training a little over 2 weeks ago, at best suffering from a hangover, at worst still maybe even a bit drunk.
He was disciplined by the club and fined for actions, but that is all now water under the bridge, especially when you have to consider that Ronald Zubar is suspended following his sending off against Manchester United.
"He wants to play, he wants to compete, he wants to win and he reminds me of that.
"He lets me know he`s available, and that`s fine, I`ve no problem with that whatsoever.
"His chances of playing are the same as last week and the week before." Connor told the Express & Star.
He concluded: "We all know what happened the other week but that was dealt with and Roger has trained really well. He hasn`t been a minute`s problem to me since."
Vital Wolves Comment: Johnson's place in the dressing room would not have been enhanced following a tweet from his wife Melissa Johnson, which read: Trying to understand why my hubbys on the bench now #ridiculous
