Merlin the Magician To Return???

Merlin the Magician To Return???

Reports on Monday suggested that Merlin has not ruled out a return to help out if asked!

That would take us full circle and back to where we were a few weeks ago, would the two M's sanction such a move?

I doubt it, Mr Morgan would have to swallow an awful lot of humble pie if it were to happen.

Mind you, Jez did ask TC if he needed any help it would be allowed! But bet he never thought TC might ask Merlin!

Reminds me a little of the story during the last war, Goering asked his pilots what they wanted to turn the tide and win the Battle of Britain, the reply was 'Let us have a squadron of spitfires'......

I cannot see MM returning but stranger things have happened I suppose, what do you think?

Never gonna happen. A/ Why would we re-employ a person that the majority blamed for the issues?? B/ No way Morgan will do it.....Can you imagine the size of the humble pie he would have to eat.

Quite right, RM: there's more chance of the board inviting me to manage the team than there is of MM returning to Molineux. Come to think of it, I couldn't do a worse job. I have just bought my train tickets for Saturday and that means I can drown my sorrows much earlier than I normally do on the way back. Mind you, I will be depressed on the way up too.

What a climb down and total loss of face this would be. Never in a million years!

Wonder what the betting odds are for this to happen?Akela is the guy to ask for this after his 'sting' bet on TC taking over!.

there you go again rustmonkey assuming! assuming that the majority blamed Mick - they didn't! it was only the small minded boo boys that blamed Mick the more "ADULT" FANS didn't, if we had beaten the unmentionables twice! all else would have been forgotten. Southbank - just stay away bud because you fall into the catorgory above. If! and I say if we go down (I havn't given up on the lads - unlike our "loyal" fans, lol, lol,) we will need a qualified manager who has experience of getting teams promoted...that manager is Mick McCarthy! it will never happen, just like it will never happen that we will get a top manager because although we are a top, well run club, who in their right mind would want to come here with some of the worst fans in the country! we used to be some of the best, but the fans we have now leave a lot to be desired. This shows with the uptake of the early bird (I re-newed mine on the first day- out of my pension) but I bet you they will all come flocking back as soon has we get promoted saying that they never left and how loyal they are.

I'm confused, johnwolf. You tell me to stay away, presumably because I do not share your point of view and therefore in your opinion am not a true supporter. Then, you include me in the ranks of true supporters because I have bought my season ticket for next year.

Wolves are a top club? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I know there are places in the area that are, to put it mildly, behind civilisation, but I didn't realise it was still the 1950's. Get yourself into the 21st century, you mug, and stop making a fool of us all by coming out with that s***e. Wim a big club aye we? No, wim not a big club.

Johnwolf......I assume ? No....I know ......the majority of fans had given up on Mick. The WBA game was just the straw that broke the camels back. I agree..the timing was completely I wrong but that is nothing unexpected from a club ran by a builder, not a Fottballing man. As for us staying up.....I admire your BLIND faith. Sadly I suspect you will be very disappointed. I have nothing wrong with you having an opinion but your opinions are usually offensive and abusive. I'd love to live in your Wolvo Wonderland for one day...it must be a wonderful place full of fluffy bunnies and pretty butterflies. A place where Wolves are the best club on the planet and our players make Messi look like a rank amateur. A place where we win week in week out and our strikers score for fun whilst our goalkeeper is left twiddling his thumbs due to our amazing defenders. Back to the real world.........the fact that you think MM is still the man for the job speaks volumes about your deluded mindset. You renewed your season ticket......bully for you. Are our fans really that bad??? I'd love to sit next to you for a season because according to you, you never slag the players off and never moan or groan. REALLY??????......I very much doubt that. Your problem is that I suspect you are not even a Wolves fan......I BET YOU ARE A BAGGIE!!!! Do us a favour and ***** off back to that bus stop in Sandwell where you belong. Whilst we're here.......I have not renewed my season ticket......SHOCK HORROR. Does that make me a ***** fan????? No season ticket for the first time in over 20 years??????? Or maybe...it's because I simply can't afford it. I have had to give up fags too........not such a bad thing but hey.......what a ***** fan I must be.

I actually quite enjoy his insane rose tinted ramblings. Despite our dire predicament he never fails to bring a smile to my face. If only we all lived in his pink and fluffy world and besides, if we all agreed then it would be boring, lol. Without mr VICTOR MELDREW aka Johnwolf......well, life would be crap. ;p
