Wolves wish Muamba well

Wolves gaffer Terry Connor has passed on all of our best wishes to Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba ahead of our game on Saturday.

As we all know after watching the frightening scenes less than two weeks ago, Fabrice Muamba collapsed during Bolton's FA Cup tie at White Hart Lane.

He has ever since been recovering in hospital and thankfully news appears positive.

Bolton have returned to action recently and head to Molineux for a crucial six-pointer on Saturday.

'Obviously we pass on our best wishes to Fabrice and the club, and we hope he makes a 100 per cent recovery.

'But looking forward to the game on Saturday it will be Wolves versus Bolton.' Connor told Wolves Official Website.

Bolton are currently 4 points clear of Wolves, just outside the bottom 3. If they can take the points you'd have to wonder if Wolves Premier League days are all but over, as we'd undoubtedly be cut too far adrift to fight back from.

TC continued: 'Whatever they feel of the Fabrice Muamba factor, that really won't play any part.

'All we should concern ourselves with when it comes to Saturday are the 18 players they put out on duty that day, but obviously we pass on our best to Fabrice as a professional player and hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.'

Vital Wolves Comment: If we lose is our Premier League status all but gone?

... but, to pick up on AdMant's concern, of course, I wish him a speedy recovery.

Echo SB and Admant's comments. Best of luck to Fabrice!! This is THE **** or bust game for us tho. A win throws us back in the mix with some confidence, a defeat cuts us adrift even further. I want to see the lads play with some fire on Sat. Nothing less than 100% from every single player and supporter. We need to be loud and urge the lads on, but in return they need to give us something to shout about. Lucky pants and the oldest ye old gold shirt that I can squeeze into will be worn. Do I hear the band warming up or is that just Steve McQueen crawling through a tunnel on the tv??!! UTW!!

As I am taking the train on Saturday, at least I can write my report of the match on the way back. Expect it late Saturday evening.

Do you think it is a foregone conclusion then, AdMant?

Yes I do SB... and Im really not trying to be negative, rather Im being pragmatic: We've all watched the last 5 games, we truly are hopeless, bereft of ideas, motivation, effort... and its not just the fans, the squad have given up too. BTW, if we lose on Sat it will be the worst home run in Wolves' history. I see 2-3 as the most likely outcome, but it will be a late 2nd for us, not a close game at all.

Unless of course we all club together for some coloured cardboard... like this resourceful lot: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/world-of-sport/helpful-fans-show-goal-shy-team-where-goal-095626049.html
