Will Hennessey stay at Wolves?

Will Hennessey stay at Wolves?

Many of us had accepted that we'd probably seen Wayne Hennessey in a Wolves shirt for the last time.

With his season cut short with a cruciate knee ligament injury, Hennessey has played his last game in the Premier League for a while.

He could be out for around 4 to 6 months too, which puts us into next season before he can consider returning to fitness and playing again.

But will that be with Wolves? If you take his word at face value, it sounds like we could.

Speaking about relegation Hennessey told Wolves Official Website: 'it does hurt - looking at the league table with a big 'R' next to our name isn't what anyone wants to see.'

He added: 'It was disappointing but our aim now has to be to get into next season and try and bounce straight back by getting promoted from the Championship.

Before his injury Hennessey was one of the favourites amongst the media to leave Molinuex. QPR had already been linked, while he may well have interested a few other Premier League managers along the way.

But with his injury, will someone take a gamble on him before he is fully fit? If not, then we could well see Heenessey in a Wolves shirt again in the Championship.

I sincerely hope so... but the bigger concern should be how to get rid of roger johnsson - i think the negativity and cost he incurrs weighs us down far more than Waynes talent lifts us...

I think Henno will stay. As for RJ, unless we are happy to take a big loss I honestly can't see him leaving. Everyone is aware of his poor form and attitude and that will hold him back. All we can hope is that he has a long look at himself over the closed season and comes back a different person. Take the armband off him and give him a decent CB to work alongside.
