Future for Wolves? Adlene Guedioura

Future for Wolves? Adlene Guedioura

With Jez Moxey stating previously that Wolves wouldn`t be 'forced` into selling any of their star players I thought I`d have a punt on who`s likely to be leaving Molineux this summer.

Keep in mind none of us really know the politics and finances of what`s going on inside of Molineux at the moment but let us know whether you agree or disagree in the comments below.

Adlene Guedioura

I genuinely believe one of the biggest mistakes of McCarthy`s tenure at Wolverhampton Wanderers was to allow Guedioura out on loan to Nottingham Forest without an option to recall.

There the player has excelled drawing plaudits from fans and had led to the confession from Forest manager Steve Cotterill that "'The better he does, the harder it is going to be to hang on to him'.

Meanwhile Wolves have looked hopelessly short in midfield and of any attacking spark through the centre of the pitch throughout the season.

'Wolves is in the past and I'm only looking forward with Forest." The 26-year-old said.

'Everyone here - the staff, gaffer, players and fans - have been really good to me and taken to me so quickly.

'They have been true after saying I would play regularly."

The Algerian clearly see`s his future away from the club but hopefully with a new manager in charge Guedioura`s arm could be twisted and he could still have a big role to play. That said, he shouldn`t be seen as an instant cure to Wolves` midfield woes, he was erratic at best during his appearances for the club, but clearly with the right nurturing hands he can flourish at Championship level.

Us going down was the only thing that could extend his Wolves career but I doubt he will stay.

Certainly talented but too hit and miss. Maybe a new manager can find him a role.

For different reasons I had hoped that Milijas and Guedioura would make the grade in the PL with WW ... and for different reasons they have failed. While I think that the Championship will be too frenetic for Ned, I would like to give Adlene a chance to see if he has matured and he has played well at Nottingham Forest. .

SOUTHBANK60 if we bring him back we will have to give him a new contract because his has only one year left. So if we get promoted we are then styck with him and he is not good enough for the PL.

Well, he might be, kiawolves and because neither MM nor TC could find it doesn't necessarily mean that he doesn't possess the requisite quality. There is plenty of potential there and it is possible that a new manager with less outmoded views could realise it. On the other hand, you may be right and I take your point about the contract.
