'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pressure is still on says TC

After being relegated from the Premier League and 3-0 to Swansea inside 15 minutes, not many would have expected what happened next.

Wolves of course had nothing to play for other than personal pride.

(Well that and of course putting themselves in the shop window to try and be part of the possible mass exodus at Molineux over the summer.)

Steven Fletcher scored the first goal to put Wolves on the comeback trail only for Swansea to score a fourth to restore the three goal cushion.

Matthew Jarvis got it back to 4-2 before half-time but the odds on a Wolves comeback must have still been pretty high considering the circumstances.

But a goal from David Edwards and a second from Jarvis got Wolves back level, much to the surprise of everyone of the 19,408 inside the Liberty Stadium.

TC has of course always said we will keep battling until the end, the problem is there hasn't been much evidence that was the case until Saturday.

'We're still putting pressure on ourselves to try and finish off the season well,' Connor told Wolves Official Website.

He continued: 'We are playing in a highly, competitive league that requires you play in 38 games and we want to make sure all of ours are meaningful and competitive.

'We want to go and play against Everton and Wigan and give a really good account of ourselves.

Perhaps we could even win a game before the season ends?

I want an action plan formulated, a manager in place and i dont want that manager to be TC. . .

Good comeback, but as always let down by useless defending(story of our season). I would'nt want TC either, but lets not forget our 2 closest rivals are likely to be replacing their managers,so it's to be hoped that our replacement has already been sorted out,and that SM & JM are not waiting for the end of the season out of a sense of misplaced loyalty to TC.

"I want Wolves to lose their next two matches, because...", then the bast***s go on to explain this using whatever rationale they feel justifies it. I wanted TC to 'win' 13 matches, when he took over. With every match that passed without 3pts, I wanted him to win all the remaining matches. My reasoning is simple enough; if TC 'wins' the match, then Wolves win the match.Someone that knows no better, would most likely think that was obvious. That everyone refering to themselves as a 'suppoprter' of a sports team would want their team to win every match. Surely a moot point, they may say;well, not at The Wolves it ain't. You see, to some, if TC were to have won the last six matches, for example, he would have proven them wrong. But, they (the person who knows no better) may ask:"Wouldn't a supporter of a team have been delighted to have been proved wrong, in this way?" If only that were so...
