Jarvis to make £4million move?

Matt Jarvis could be one of the first to leave Wolves at the end of the season as Premier League new boys Southampton are set to make a move.

Wolves and Southampton will pass like ships in the night come the end of the season with the south coast club securing their return to the Premier League last weekend with a win over Coventry.

Wolves will drop back down to the Championship after our relegation was confirmed last month.

The Daily Express believe that Southampton are already set to start spending their £90million windfall at securing promotion with a £4million bid for Jarvis.

Saints want him as one of their first signings as they begin to build for the exciting rollercoaster of life back in the Prem.

We of course are likely to see a lot of our squad dismantled and Jarvis is one of those expected to leave.

But is £4million right?

to answer your question, lets put it this way, that sack of *** johnson cost us £4mil... if we use that as a ratio of cost/performance, Jarvo should fetch £40 mil

I really would hate to see Jarvo go.....cant we convince them that Hunt is a better winger? ..............thought not

14m would be more like it if he has to go. And to Southampton?....a south- coast club... south coast clubs are WW's bogey teams, and I dread having to watch him torment our defenders if we are back up in the PL soon, unless, of course, the revenue from transfers is utilized in securing an Italian manager to sort out the back-line or to replace it partly or entirely as he deems fit.

would be a player that is sure to attract big interest this summer, especially at something close to that price. who else do you worry about losing this summer, Fletcher seems like a player that will interest quite a few

there a few players I would worry about keeping!!!

4 Million....What a snip!

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! £4m is a complete under-valuation. He is under a long-term contract, we are not stuggling financially so if we do sell it has to be a very good offer. £7-9m is the ball park. He's an England International don't u know?!
BIG TASTY
once again paper speculation, why southampton? they will be back down next season and we will be back up -end off! if Jarvo is to go then he should aim higher and £4 million is a joke, and regardless of what some idiots think of Jez - one thing is certain non of our players will go on the cheap.

Wasn't good enough to keep your bunch of mugs up, will he be good enough for us, I'm not convinced. Enjoy your relegation - end of.

This is a journalist who obviously knows nothing about football, players or value. 4 million is a joke. If we had stayed up they probably would not have taken 10 million for him. We know the story usually when a club goes down but we, as the club underlines, has no reason to sell, so anyone coming forward with the likes of this amount can toddle off. I don't think we would 'get' double that amount for him but you would have to be looking closer towards 8 than 4.

Oh and best wishes to Jody Craddock and his family, cant imagine what its like.

Horrible news for Jody after what he and his family have already been through. Our thoughts and support to them. Nothing to say about football today.
