Ståle Solbakken has officially been unveiled as the new manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers at a press conference earlier today.
The 44-year-old who has won five league titles in Denmark with Copenhagen, winning the Danish Superliga in 2005-06, 2006-07, 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11 was announced as the new boss at the end of last week but didn't meet the media until this morning.
Sat in the middle between between chief executive Jez Moxey and chairman Steve Morgan, the Norwegian looks a man not to be messed with.
Good English and well spoken, he appears on the face of it to be someone with the determination and grit needed for long campaign in the Championship, it's amazing what first impressions you can take from a chap you've never heard of sitting there talking football.
Obviously we won't know until the season starts and it will certainly be an interesting summer.
Expect a lot of familiar faces to leave Molineux and expect a lot of new faces to arrive, both on the playing side and the managerial side.
In a way a fresh start is exciting, just a shame the re-build begins in the Championship.
'It is too early to say who I will bring with me, I trust the guys that are already here but I do want to add one or two new people.' he told Wolves Official Website.
He continued: 'We will all work very hard to have a good Wolves system next year.
'We don't want to lose any players that we want to keep.
'But in football you cannot guarantee that.
'We will also have a look around and will see where we are a few months from now.
'I will meet the players today but will not be analysing the season with them!
