Villa to visit for Molineux friendly

Aston Villa will visit Molineux in August, for Wolverhampton Wanderers only home pre-season friendly.

The game will kick off at 3pm on Saturday August 11th and will be the first chance the home crowd will get to welcome Ståle Solbakken to Molinuex.

Although anyone making the trips to Walsall on July 28 and Shrewsbury on July 31 will get the chance to welcome him a little earlier.

It could be a very special day (no not because Mick McCarthy is one of the favourites to take over at Villa) as the upper tier of the new Stan Cullis Stand should also be open for the first time.

Ticket details are yet to be announced so keep checking for further details if you are desperate to get your footy fix a week before the new Championship season begins.
