'If It's Football, It's Vital'

McCarthy Pleased With New Addition

Wolves have completed the signing of Celtic left back Charlie Mulgrew.

The 20 year old has passed his medical and agreed personal terms following confirmation Lee Naylor has passed his medical at Parkhead.

The former Scottish Young Player Of The Year joins a raft of young, hungry signings made by Mick McCarthy for his new look Wolves side.

Speaking to the clubs official site Mick said :

'Charlie is a good footballer.

'He's over 6ft, he's a left sided player, either at full back or as a centre-back and as we have now lost Lee Naylor he will help to cover that area.

'I am looking forward to getting him into training today and seeing what he can do.'
