Ismail set to leave Wolves?

Could highly rated youngster Zeli Ismail really leave Molineux?

He has been with us since the age of 14 and we have nurtured him through the youth ranks, just like we do with all of our young prospects.

But Zeli Ismail was someone that many of us had really high hopes for and yet, reports in the media and in particular Sky Sports have suggested that with just one year remaining on his current contract, we have yet to open talks with him about a new deal.

While the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City have been known to be keeping a watchful eye on him in the past, the Sky Sports report believe that Fulham, Queens Park Rangers and West Ham are all prepared to make moves to drag him away from Molineux.

You can't change the times, Johnwolf. In another age it may have been possible to keep young talent shrouded in secrecy, but in this day and age not even the SS would succeed, let alone SS and his bosses.

Clubs have scouts at all the youth matches for the very reason of spotting new talent. If you think people in the footballing World pay any interest in this website then you are deluded. I suspect you are just looking for another excuse to have a pop at somebody. You really need to get a grip of your life (what's left of it anyway). What a sad life you must lead that you can only vent your spleen in a forum where you remain hidden behind a keyboard. I can only suspect that in your real life that you are a small down trodden man who has spent his life being pushed around but have now found a way to boost your ego by anonymously abusing anyone or everyone. Put your Baggies scarf on and go get a life.

Has anyone ever changed this way, Rustmonkey? Just refuse to take the abuse, or, to be more precise, what we take for abuse. JW can only be what he is. I, for one, accept him as he is. He may hurl abuse to his heart's delight, that will be his doing, which I can have nothing to do with. My doing involves how I choose to receive his words, and that means for me, in the appreciation of what he makes himself out to be.

lovesW-I'm sure i'm not the only person that will have noticed you've just questioned Rustmonkey in a way you never have JW.The constant stream of abuse (as we 'take it')from JW has never once caused you to respond... unless I missed it.I'm sure this is the only time you've taken to print to advise that another poster is entitled to their opinion;you've certainly never pointed that out to JW but, not for the first time, you've felt need to champion the person (the only one) who continualy dictates the oposite. In fact, following some of his most rancid posts, you've gone on to say how you agree. JW , as we know, doesn't think you should be allowed to post. Not that you would be in a minority there, other than himself, i'm not sure he actually thinks anyone should be allowed an opinion on HIS club. You felt no need to comment on his assertion that anyone having questioned who our new manager was, was not a Wolves fan. Akela (not for the first time) is the latest to be vilified. For what reason? (I don't hear you ask) For doing his job, that's why. To post the requisite number of items in a month to comply with the site's requirements;during a close season;with players on holiday;a manager in a foreign country etc, etc. If JW was being(in anyway) 'bullied' by other posters on here then I could understand your unquestioning backing of his right to an opinion. That simply isn't the case, however;the opposite is. You choose to back the right of someone to continually state that no-one should opine on WWFC other than him, yet felt the need to comment on RM's (latest) challenge to this. You can hardly claim to be ignoring the abusive posts from JW. You've responded to one on this page, selectively ignoring the abuse. Rustmonkey responded, firstly, to the ridiculous notion that scouts will be searching fans' blogs for potential transfer tatgets. You ignored that part (as you had the abuse in JW's post) but, conversely, chose to hone in on the second part of his comment. Do you see the contradiction, lovesW? You chose to ignore the 'abuse' in JW's post, instead opting to engage his laughable claim that Alkela is a fifth-columnist.However, when it came to RM's post, you chose to do the opposite;only commenting on the 'personal' portion of his comment. Your closing comment has me intrigued.Your appreciation for who he makes himself out to be? How can you respond to a poster who has (more than once) stated you are not entitled to an opinion, whilst claiming to appreciate 'what he makes himself out to be'? Surely, if you were to appreciate that, you'd completely ignore him.Not for the first time, lovesW, you have caused much mirth in this household and not for the first time we are laughing at you, as oppose to with you. As I alluded to earlier, you've the air of someone defending another from a bully. What you are, in reality, is that even more despicable little **** who holds the coat of the bully whilst he beats up the fat ginger kid. In a nutshell, lovesW,: **** you, you pompous ****... no offence.

Laughing never hurt anybody. WS64. For that I am glad, not least because it offsets, be it even somewhat ,so I hope, 'the mirth I caused in this household'. I do not ignore JW's posts, WS84, nor do I ignore your post: I notice, for one thing, that the former is direct; if it is offence he wants to give, he gives offence, straight and without taking anything back. He does not diplomatise and undo it all by ending with something like ' offence'. Please be more direct, WS84. Thank you.

Although I have received regular abuse from JohnWolf, I try to answer his nonsensical opinions by the exercise of reason rather than with a response in kind. Frankly, I wish we could ignore him rather than give him the reaction he so desperately craves. And yet, he is capable of making a valid point as well as a stupid one. Take his comment on the possible acquisition of BBS. Here is what I wrote as a contribution to the relevant post. Johnwolf: I think you are right in your reasoning why BBS is likely to join WW, but why do you have to spoil it by making a gratuitous insult against fellow-WW supporters? It is your persistent unwillingness to accept as true fans those of us who do not entirely agree with your opinion all of the time that marks you out as ignorant. A typo can be corrected but your prejudices seem to be set in stone!

Calm down johnwolf, I think you are giving my articles far too much credit, if I had any influence over Premier League clubs transfer policies I would have much more than the 37p I have in my wallet as we speak. If they really did run their clubs via what they read on websites I would have thought they might have taken more notice from the article on Sky Sports rather than the one on here.

If it upsets you that I am willing to meet JW head on, then I apologise LovesW but bear this in mind. I was bullied as a kid and initially when I joined the Army in 87. Nothing unusual there because bullying was rife in the army in those days. One day I decided enough was enough......I became a Boxing Coach, I became physically much fitter, I even ended up being a Bodyguard for someone important in Iraq during the last conflict. Basically, I chose not to be bullied any more. I am not by nature a bully myself but I will not ever allow a person that I believe to be a bully to ply their trade in my presence. This has unfortunately led to interesting Meeting of minds over the years. I have no issues with a person disagreeing with me and actually quite enjoy a good intellectual debate but I do struggle to sit on a fence when I witness somebody being just plain rude and abusive. That is my cross to bear....maybe when I stepped over the line I forgot how to step back. Like I say, if my response causes offence the I apologise. The annoying part is that, as SB stated.....JW can actually make a decent arguement when he puts his mind to it but prefers to get involved in foul mouthed abuse of anyone who challenges either his views or that of our club. We are all entitled to an opinion but it's how that opinion is delivered. I will refrain from getting involved with his vitriol from now on. Like you say......shunning him is probably the best policy.
