'If It's Football, It's Vital'

McCarthy Slams Goal Shy Strikers

Mick McCarthy has fired a warning salvo at his strikers following Wolves disapointing midweek loss to Chesterfield in the League Cup.

'The front two, whether it was Craig Davies and Tomasz Frankowski in the first half or Jemal Johnson and Leon Clarke in the second half weren't as much as a threat as they were.
'If we want to playing in the Championship then those lads should be posing more of a threat.' he told the E&S.

The match may have been a last chance saloon for Polish strike Tomasz Frankowski who once again, failed to score.

McCarthy's comments are sure to fire rumours of a season long loan to Deportivo Tenerife, and a possible permanent exit from Molineux.
