Wolves complete Nouble signing

Wolves have confirmed the signing of West Ham's Nouble.

Please note this is Frank Nouble rather than Mark Noble, who New York City Wolf linked with a move to Molineux early this morning! (Obviously something got lost in translation across the pond).

The striker was released by West Ham following the end of his contract and Ståle Solbakken has moved quickly to make him his second signing of the summer.

After passing a medical he signed a two year deal with the club.

'Frank is a player that our scouts have been watching. We think he has qualities that we can develop and with his physical strength and power I feel that he can help us.' Solbakken told Wolves Official Website.

He added: 'He should be a useful acquisition to the squad and it is a good opportunity for him to come to a stable club and work hard.

'I think this is a win-win situation for both the club and the player. He is a young guy and he can add to his potential every week.'

The 20-year-old has played for a whole host of clubs on loan since leaving Chelsea for West Ham in 2009 and this is where the majority of his experience has come from.

He has had short spells with West Brom, Swindon, Swansea, Barnsley, Charlton and Gillingham during his career.

Last season he played for West Ham, Gillingham (in League Two) and Barnsley, making 25 appearances and scoring 6 goals (5 for Gillingham).

1 in 4 strike rate, not great that is it?
The Fear
Not when five of them came in League Two no. But he's potential apparently, not sure what this means for the likes of SEB and Vokes.

new broom sweeping clean?.......how did SS hear about this guy?

I remember when we purchased Kightly for 25 k and people were like....who? I suspect this isn't an SS signing but a TC one. Maybe he wants to work with him in the reserves and see what he can get out of him. Can't see the guy in the first team too often until he's played reserves for a while.

Some of our fans would moan if we signed Messi! it's gonna be a long moaning year until the start of next season, bloody hell I just wish they would sod off back to tesco's

Any chance that annoying poll might change soon because I don't think anyone has voted on it in a month.
New York City Wolf
Please note. New York Wolf had been drinking wine and broke a Noble signing before it was anywhere of the internet! so never mind I had the wrong player! Sod it. We got the main one we wanted in the Icelander so this fella, whatever, we shall see. He has played for England Under 17's and 19's and you don't play international at any level if you are ***** so let's give the lad a chance and see what happens. Seeing he has been out on loan so often you doubt he would want to come to a club to do that again, but then again he was out of contract for a month and not a bad place to call home. Sounds like he had a few to choose from so glad we have him. All the best.
New York City Wolf
We could have a poll about our new signings. We can keep the options as they are...
