The Vital Wolverhampton Wanderers users summer interviews are back! Tell us what you think As well as joining in on the forum and article comments below, you can also write an article to appear on our site! This website is 100% by the fans and we are always looking for people to get involved. If this interests you please contact Vital Wolves.
With Euro 2012 ending with heart break for England on penalties once again, we thought we would shift our focus away from the European Championships, Wimbledon and the Olympics and back on to Wolverhampton Wanderers challenge on the Championship this August!
We want to hear your views and then via our sometimes lively article comments, we want everyone else to discuss your points and basically keep us entertained over the next month and a bit of no football!
First up we have tom_s who sent in his answers via email.
Number 1: In your view, what were the three key areas (on and off the pitch) that resulted in our relegation from the Premier League.
The centre of defence was too slow and cumbersome, Roger Johnson proved to be a disruptive force and with objection to the ground expansion was unhelpful as until this is complete we will continue to be unable to pay the competitive wages in the Premier League.
Number 2: Since our relegation has the club resolved any of these points to your satisfaction?
No, the jury is out on whether Solbakken can fix this defence, it desperately needs some pace, Johnson needs to be shipped out and we have postponed the ground expansion, leaving us in financial no mans land.
Number 3: If the season kicked off today, do Wolves have the players, management and staff to earn promotion back to the Premier League?
Play offs at best, the defence was not even Championship level last year and until we fix that we will not progress.
Number 4: If you were Ståle Solbakken what position would be your priority to strengthen?
Centre back then left back
Number 5: Anyone in particular in mind?
I would be happy to take Collins or Higginbotham in part exchange for Jarvis but would hope to see Batth and Reckford get an opportunity to stake their claim
Number 6: Who would you be desperate to get rid of and why?
Johnson - terrible player, disruptive force
O'Hara - big time charlie, too injury prone
Berra - final year of contact, too slow
Fletcher/Jarvis - as long as the money is right they should be allowed to remain at the top level
Number 7: Out of the three relegated sides who do you think is the best equipped to offer a promotion challenge?
Bolton because they still have a settled line up and won't lose too many players.
Number 8: Out of the sides in the Championship who do you think will win the title?
Cardiff or Leicester because money talks
Number 9: Who will be relegated?
Huddersfield, Bristol City, Peterborough
Number 10: What question would you like to ask the Vital Wolves users who are responding to your interview?
What ground are you most looking forward to visiting again?
Thanks to tom_s for getting the ball rolling and sending in his interview!
Feel free to discuss his points and answer his Number 10 politely, we're all on the same side don't forget!
If you would like to take part in this feature please send in your replies to the above nine questions and think of an original number ten to ask our Vital Wolves users!
Send them directly to us via our Vital Wolves by email address or post your answers on on the forum.
