Savić move by Wolves?

Ståle Solbakken fancies a punt on Manchester City defender Stefan Savić.

Dubbed by many as a flop during his first season at the Premier League champions, including the Daily Mail who have reported the potential move, the 21-year-old centre back could prove a shrewd move by Solbakken to strengthen our defence in my opinion.

Following a £6 million move from Serbian side FK Partizan, Savić made 20 appearances for Manchester City last season and since making his debut in 2010 he has also made 14 appearances for the Montenegro national team.

He obviously has the potential and to have played so many times in a title winning side, Manchester City must also have some faith in him, even if it is solely because they believe he has potential.

If this really is a realistic move, then I think I would welcome him to Molineux.
