Turkish Delight for Zubar?

Ronald Zubar has been linked with an interesting move away from Wolves and on to a new challenge in Turkey with Beşiktaş.

The 26-year-old defender joined Wolves in 2009, for €3 million from Marseille and has a year left on his contract at Molineux.

With only 12 months remaining on his contract and following our relegation from the Premier League, Beşiktaş believe they can lure him away with a cut price offer in the region of €1-2 million.

Vital Wolves Comment: We have to confess that we're not too hot on our Turkish football or language, so this could either be a rumour spreading like wild fire, or one that comes from a questionable source!

Either way we have read it on turkish-football.com, so perhaps anyone out there with a bit of knowledge could suggest to us if this is worth raising an eyebrow to, or just discard it with the many other summer transfer rumours?

I think Zubar can still do a job for us but realistically some players will have to be moved on as we clearly have far too big a squad. Also we have a worryingly large number of players with only a year left to run on their contract. would wish to see us recoup at least half of the £3M we paid for him....

I have an image of SS and JL sitting down the Ronald. So, right back? Well, I've pretty much always played in the middle, only Mick thought it better to play me at right back. I have loved seeing Zubes bomb down the line but I look forward to him being given a chance in the middle. OM are no ***** poor club so to be playing consistently for them he was doing something right. Shame he was one of many never played in the right position. Have faith the new management will be able to recognize his strengths and play to them. As for the transfer story it is another I will take no notice of. There are also plenty of players I would like to see leave before Zubes.
