Wolves Bites - 5th July

It's that time again when we roll out our 'Wolves Bites' articles, bringing you the news around Molineux in a handy bite size chunk!

* Wolves have agreed a six figure sponsorship deal with new homes website whathouse.co.uk.

As part of the deal their website address will be printed on the back of all Wolverhampton Wanderers kits throughout the 2012/13 season, they will also have LED advertising around the ground.

* Wolves have had been forced to re-shuffle our fixture list, so get out that calendar and marker pen!

Sky Sports have selected our home game against Leicester in September to be televised, that has forced not only that game to be moved but also the away game with Ipswich.

Wolves V Leicester is now Sunday, September 16, with a 1.15pm kick off. While Ipswich V Wolves is now Wednesday, September 19, with a 7.45pm kick off.

The matches with Cardiff have also been tweaked.

Cardiff V Wolves is now Sunday, September 2 with a 2pm kick off and Wolves V Cardiff is now Sunday, February 24 with a 2pm kick off.

And don't forget the opening day game against Leeds kicks off at 12.45pm on Saturday, August 18 to also accommodate Sky Sports.

* 21-year-old Wolves striker Ashley Hemmings has joined Walsall.

Hemmings completed his medical at the Banks`s Stadium on Wednesday and then signed a two-year deal.

* The future of Wolves might just be one of the ten new Academy scholars who officially join the club this week.

Andre Streete, Ibrahim Keita, Dylan Stringer-Moth, Cieran Keane, Tom Hill, Danny Murray, Declan Weeks, Ben O'Hanlon, Peter Smith and Scott Dutton will all join the two-year scholarship, which includes a tough schedule of not only training and playing matches but also a programme of education.
