'If It's Football, It's Vital'

JJ Thanks Fans

It was a good weekend to be Jemal Johnson. A second succesive league victory for Wolves, both earned on the back of solitary Johnson goals, and praise heaped on the youngster from all angles.

But Jemal had his own praise to dish out following Wolves 1-0 victory over Luton , and the first shut out for Luton this season.

'I really like the stadium and the fans are really good, getting behind the players,' he said following teh victory , ading

'I hope they can keep that going because that's what we need, and we know we've got to give them something to get behind as well.'

'It's just nice to get another goal and hopefully that's something I can keep going.'

Competition to lead the line for Wanderrs has increased with the addition of Jay Bothroyd and Jemal to the squad, complimenting the presence of Carl Cort and Lean Clarke, and JJ is all too aware that there is no room to rest on his laurels if he intends on maintaining his place in Wolves starting lineup.

'I enjoy playing with Carl, he's a great player who has done it at the highest level so it's a good experience for me to go alongside him,' he went on,

'I had the same kind of partnership going on with Leon last week as well but it's really difficult to keep your place in the team because there's some really good strikers here.

'Jay Bothroyd's played in the Premier League, Carl Cort's played in the Premier League , so I've got to be prepared to work for my place in the team because they are as well.

'I'd like to think I can bring something else to the team, working in behind people and working hard which is what the gaffer has told me to do.'

Kep listening to teh advice Jemal, it seeems to be working a treat.
