Two set to depart Molineux?

Two set to depart Molineux?

Wolverhampton Wanderers have placed one midfielder on the transfer list and received a bid for another.

Fulham have reportedly increased their offer for Matt Jarvis.

Wolves have already rejected bids from West Ham and Fulham for fees of around the £4million figure, while it is believed that Moxey and Morgan are holding out for a fee nearer £10million.

The latest report by the Telegraph states that Fulham manager Martin Jol has put in a bid of around £4.5million, so hardly enough to start making Wolves hold emergency board meetings to discuss if they should accept or not.

If we are seriously holding out for a eight figure fee, £4.5million bids are just wasting everyone's time.

Jarvis is of course one of the players who most of us expect to leave, but if no-one is willing to match our asking price he should stay put. Are these just the early stages of negotiations or do teams not value him as highly as we do?

Meanwhile the transfer listed man is 24-year-old winger Adam Hammill.

Hammill joined Wolves for £500,000 from Barnsley in January 2011, but hasn't really pulled up any trees while he has been at Molineux with just 10 league starts and 23 total appearances in all competitions.

Ironically though, much like Sam Vokes, with Wolves now dropping into the Championship, this could be more his level and he could prove to be an option this season.

His availability is likely to interest Blackpool, who made the Championship play-offs last season.

Hammil and Gedioura will tear our back 4 new asses, this seems lunacy to me, and its fine to say "Stale is creating a more compact shape" whilst at the same time we show our MOST TALENTED players the door... We are holding out for the highest bidder, why, so that we can use the cash to find other gems ? WE ALREADY HAVE GEMS !!!! If you had told me 6 months ago that we'd be relegated, the stadium dev plans put on hold, and Jarvo, Fletch, kights and Hammil were all sold, and we were left with the RJ, Berra, Henry and Edwards dross I would have thrown myself in front of a bus. Wait, there's still time I hear you say...!

Admant dont no why your so upset Guedioura has spent three seasons and to be honest has not really impressed at all.He is one of those who gets the ball puts his head down and runs untill he falls ove or shoots from impossible places. As for Hammil he went on loan to Middlesborough and was sent back because did not have a clue what he was doing. They had there chances and blew it i do agree we need to get rid of a few more i.e Bera, Stearman, Edwards Elikobi to name but a few.

I normally agree with you, AdMant, but I am happy with the sale of Guedioura and Hammill. With the signing of Droumbia we already have a better replacement and, if we acquire Traore, an even better result. I can even contemplate with equanimity the loss of Jarvis, as long as we hold on to Kightly. Naturally, I want Fletcher to stay. In CD, the sale of Berra, no great loss in itself, will prompt management to look for a replacement with greater urgency.

Hammill and Guedioura gems? Oh no they aren't. I totally agree with kiawolves assessment of them.I don't think we have to worry about' Blind- Alley- Hammill' and' Which- Way- Are- We- Kicking?-Guedioura' coming back to haunt us. As far as i'm aware they weren't ripping anybody anything new when they played in the Championship last season, and they were, in AH's case non-productive and in AG's case truly awful for us, so where the justification is for rating either of them, i've no idea. They seemed to have developed some mythical status for us last season based on the fact that they played less than others. But they were played and weren't any good, worse than the usual eleven. IF they'd have played regularly we'd have been relegated with them, rather than without them-that would have been the only difference. We wanted changes and changes is what we're getting. If and when SF and/or KD,MJ and MK leave then those will be changes imposed on SS. The players that have been cleared out, though, are decisions he's made and I support all of them so far.

P.S. I share the sentiment expressed by gregory house re Berra.According to the E&S, his agent has been trying for 'some time' to find him a new club. May I join with gregory and tens of thousands of others in wishing you all the best in your search!

One way to keep our stars (by my exclusive definition rather than the all-encompassing journo one) is to strengthen the squad, especially at the back. Apart from showing our determination to bounce back, it would make our true stars think very carefully before making a knee-jerk decision to jump ship. With SS at the helm and the arrival of one or two more quality players, I not only reckon that we will get promoted but will be well-placed to kick on from there in the PL.

With Berra's transfer request, it was a good thing Craddock was offered that contract. For my money, he is still the best pick of all that crap heap we call the defence - WH excluded, of course.

Southbank I hope we can get that Savic on a year long loan , I think Ward will be more than ok in the championship , dont get me wrong I would like a new left back and have Ward as more as a squad player as we all know he can play anywhere but there is more importance on getting a new centre half or two as what I watched of Danny Batth against Shrewsbury was worrying , veryu very slow at turning where as RJ looked sharp and the spit of the centre half we watched in the first few games last season , most said RJ was rubbish well you cant be as good and demanding as he was to that bad without a few reasons behind it , personally I think him and Mad Mick clashed personality wise and he expected an easy ride as Micks golden boy but Mick's a stubborn old git , but that era has passed and I think he will blossom under Stale , RJ also gets on very well with O'Hara Fletcher and Stearman and its no suprise Stearman and RJ have looked pretty decent all be it against Shrews !!! , its all up in the air at the moment , as Stale said August is going to be a very long month so we will have to wait and see who we bring in and more importantly ship out , personally I would like to see the back of Milijas/Edwards/Jonsson/Hunt/Hammill/Berra/Foley/Elokobi and bring in this Traroe , a new LB new CB , forwards is more than covered with or without Fletcher for me !

And a lot of people going on about Hammill and Guedioura , I would have Anthony Forde over Hammill anyday and Zele Ismail is on the comeback too , and I think Doumbia showed more in 45 against Shrews than Adlene did all last season , I was thankfull for his games against Spurs and the Baggies but 2 goals out of 5000 attempts aint a good return hahaha !
