Wolves gaffer Stĺle Solbakken has added Nenad Milijaš to his ever expanding list of players available for transfer.
When it emerged back in June that Stĺle Solbakken tried to sign Nenad Milijaš for Bundesliga side Cologne last season, we thought that perhaps Milijaš could be in favour with the new boss.
It isn't much of a leap to come to the conclusion that Solbakken could well be a fan of Milijaš if he had previously attempted to sign him and if that was the case he must have been looking forward to the new season?
Well apparently not.
"We`re looking to see if Nenad can find a club and he agrees on that, He`s been here for a long time and needs to play regularly." Solbakken told the Shropshire Star.
The 29-year-old struggled to hold down a regular first team place at Molinuex last season and with the Serbian international heading in to the final year of his four-year contract at Wolves, obviously he wants to make sure he is in the gaffers plans and playing regularly.
Well with Tongo Doumbia joining Wolves, that doesn't appear to be the case as Solbakken believes he has enough midfield cover.
He continued: "We`ll see what comes in but Nenad is really keen to play now because for a long time now, he`s just played a few games each season, He`s at an age now where he needs to be playing regular football.
"We have five other central midfielders with Karl Henry, Tongo Doumbia, Dave Edwards, Dave Davis and Jamie O`Hara when he`s fit, so we should be fine."
Vital Wolves Comment: Apparently Milijaš will be available on a permanent basis or a loan move, so it would seem his days are clearly numbered as we're not even desperate to chase a transfer fee.
