Ståle Solbakken has made his sixth signings as Wolves boss, making a second swoop on French club Rennes.
Previously Solbakken has taken Tongo Doumbia on a season-long loan from Rennes but this time Solbakken has signed 25-year-old Togolaise international Razak Boukari on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
Boukari is a versatile attack minded player, capable of playing all across midfield and up front.
"I play in midfield, on the right or the left, and also have the possibility to play as a striker too.
"I think I have good speed to try and take players on and am also good with my head too.' he told Wolves Official Website.
He has scored seven goals in 38 appearances for Rennes over the past two years and is looking to get on the scoresheet more often following his move to the Championship.
He continued: "I know it is not the Premier League but that is not a problem because I just want to play football and hopefully I can do that at Wolves.
"I want to contribute and score goals and help the team do well. - and we want to aim for promotion.
"I know there is pressure and fans wanting us to do well but that is good and I will enjoy it."
Boukari has already had a look around Molineux as he was at the ground ahead of our game with Derby, now that the deal has completed he is expected to return to Wolverhampton tomorrow to join up with the squad.
But he does have the advantage of having some familiar faces around the place, because as well as knowing Tongo Doumbia he also knows Steven Mouyokolo and Ronald Zubar.
Vital Wolves Comment: Apparently this could be the first of a few faces joining this week. So what do we make of the squad that Solbakken is assembling, what position do you think he should strengthen next?
