Nenad Milijaš departs

Nenad Milijaš has left Wolves after seeing his contract at Molinuex cancelled.

A couple of weeks ago the 30-year-old was placed on the transfer list and it was said that he could leave the club either on loan or on a permanent basis.

It was clear that we were not interested in chasing any kind of transfer fee for him after he struggled to hold down a regular first team place at Molinuex last season.

The Serbian international was heading in to the final year of his four-year contract at Wolves and obviously wants to make sure he is in the gaffers plans and playing regularly, but with Tongo Doumbia joining Wolves it was clear that his chances would be limited.

"The manager had told Nenad that his opportunities were going to be very limited this season and, as a result, we have reached mutual agreement on the cancellation of his contract," said CEO Jez Moxey to Wolves Official Website.

He continued: "He is therefore free to pursue other options and leaves with the best wishes of everyone at the club.

Vital Wolves Comment: Must admit I am surprised how fast this has all come about considering we all thought that Stĺle Solbakken would be a fan of Milijaš!

In June it was revealed that Solbakken had tried to sign him for Bundesliga side Cologne last season and within months he's out of the door as Solbakken continues to re-shape and re-mould the squad in his vision.

Good honest pro but for a so called creative midfielder you only see him for 10 minutes in a game , thanks for the Bolton strike and all the best back at Red Star Nenad !!
