Wolves sack Connor

After 13 years at Molineux Terry Connor was shown the door yesterday afternoon.

The official website put up an extremely brief statement to announce the news, with the final sentence adding A fuller tribute to Terry`s long-standing service to Wolves will be paid in due course.

Well some 20 hours later and we still wait a tribute or even a comment from perhaps CEO Jez Moxey, on his service to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

No matter what your opinion of the man, surely he deserves it?

Of course it will come in time, but this move has been inevitable since Stale Solbakken was named as the new gaffer and Johan Lange was named as first-team coach. Surely it would have been nice to have had something prepared and ready for when the news was officially announced?

He of course will be remembered for his stint in charge of the first team, failing to win a single game and standing on deck until the Wolves ship sunk without a trace at the foot of the Premier League table.

But he also played an important role in us getting to the Premier League in the first place.
