It's complicated says Ståle

If the hunt for a new manager last season was any kind of indication you just knew that finding a new first team coach would prove to be difficult too.

Having already given Terry Connor the elbow Ståle Solbakken and first-team coach Johan Lange have started the search for a new coach.

It is thought that the backroom staff are keen to add a British coach to their team, but have ruled out Ray Wilkins and Joe Jordan who had been linked with a move to Molineux.

Former Aston Villa and Republic of Ireland assistant Kevin MacDonald and Bolton Academy coach Sammy Lee however do remain strong links, although there would appear to have been a snag in the proceedings.

"I don`t want to say there`s been a setback but maybe it`s a little more complicated than we first thought over certain things," Solbakken told the Express & Star.

He continued: "It`s always like that - this could either be a free transfer or a fee!

"I don`t think it will be an expensive one! But it could be one where we need to negotiate.

"We`re still searching. We`ve interviewed some people but there are always hiccups along the way.

Vital Wolves Comment: If the options do indeed turn out to be either Sammy Lee or Kevin MacDonald who would you prefer to see added to Ståle Solbakken's Wolves backroom team?

Someone like Sammy Lee to bark out orders when Stale wants a rest sounds great to me , but personally I'd love a coach like Robert Lee , a cracking footballer in his day to learn our midfield that playing in midfield is a two way position as most of ours seem to prefer going one way tha n the other lol
