Doyle targets more goals

Kevin Doyle is enjoying life in the Championship.

OK, so it's not the glamour of the Premier League, but never underestimate the power of winning.

That's something that Wolverhampton Wanderers have enjoyed a fair bit of over the past couple months. In fact we've already chalked up five wins so far this season, which equals the amount of victories we scrapped together during the whole of last seasons Premier League campaign.

Striker Kevin Doyle is also enjoying a return to regularly finding the back of the net, with three goals for club and country. Last season he only scored five goals in forty-five appearances for club and country.

With a bit of luck he would have already matched that tally, but his confidence remains high and he's targeting more glory.

"I`m enjoying it, definitely, It`s up to other people to judge on how well I`m playing but I think that we have all been enjoying the winning feeling again.' he told Wolves Official Website.

He continued: 'I`d like to have scored some more goals - I seem to be hitting the post and crossbar a lot recently but hopefully the goals will come in the length of the season."

Right... whilst it's great to get some wins for a change, we can hardly be called prolific ... In fact, our hugely succesful and attacking midfield was sold or loaned out - and this is puzzling. Sako is proving a revelation, and without him i shudder to think where we would be ... much to think about come January transfer

Just read that Wenger has not ruled out loaning us Frimpong again, once he gets a few games under his belt ... now there's a prospect, Dioumbia and Frimpong stopping the opposition dead in their tracks, whilst also feeding out pin point passes ... !!

... and now Doyle is out for tomorrow's game, as is Siggy. As it looks like Nouble will playing, it will put my theory that he is the only forward tall and fast enough to get on the end of Sako's crosses into the box. If only he were more coordinated.

AdMant-.'.our hugely succesful and attacking midfield was sold or loaned out - and this is puzzling'. It certainly is a puzzle. Who are you talking about?
