Wolves Bites - 31st October

A quick round-up of the news around Molineux, including Arsenal's Emmanuel Frimpong, Mick McCarthy and a fixture change.

First up Arsenal's Emmanuel Frimpong could be set for a return to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 20-year-old joined Wolves on loan last season, but after just five appearances he was forced to return to Arsenal following a serious knee injury.

Frimpong has returned to training with Arsenal so the opportunity of returning on loan could be a possibility. But its early days on this rumour.

Ex-Wolves boss Mick McCarthy is poised to become the new manager of Ipswich Town. McCarthy hasn't been involved in football since his sacking from Molineux in February.

If he does make a return at Portman Road McCarthy will have a difficult job on his hands with Ipswich currently rock bottom of the Championship table with just 7 points.

Ipswich are set to visit Wolves on Saturday 29th December.

Sky Sports will be showing our home game with Blackburn Rovers live and due to this the game has been moved from Saturday January 12, to Friday January 11, with a 7.45pm kick off.
