'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rob's Samba Moment

It's possibly every schoolboy's dream. To line up against the best team in the world, the Brazil national side.

Only a select handful of europes players get to do it. And every one savours the opportunity to pit themselves against the 5 times world champions.

Last night Rob Edwards got the chance, coming on as a second half substitute in Wales 2-0 defeat, against a side that featured Robinho, Ronaldinho and Kaka and didn't let himself, his country, or his club down.

'When I went on I was very wary because they are so quick with their one-twos. You have to be on your toes ready for that bit of magic they can produce. Ronaldinho, Kaka, Robinho - these players are world class and it's a privilege to be on the same pitch as them.' he told the clubs official site, rightly proud of not only his, but the Wales team performance as a whole.

And when it comes time to hang up his boots, Rob will always be able to say that he's faced the best there is out there.

And wasn't found wanting.
