O'Hara set for on pitch return

O'Hara set for on pitch return

Jamie O'Hara and Georg Margreitter are set to pick up their fitness following injuries with a run out against Wigan today.

The game will be played at the Compton training ground, but the training ground will be closed to the public all day today so that the game can be played 'behind closed doors'.

26-year-old O'Hara has been recovering from a third hernia operation inside a year and hasn't featured for Wolves since March and hadn't trained since August until last week.

24-year-old Austrian centre-back Georg Margreitter, who has made three appearances for Wolves since his move from Austria Vienna in the summer is also set to play.

He's suffered from a number of back and hip problems which have limited him to just ten minutes of Championship football.

'We're playing a behind closed doors game tomorrow against Wigan and Jamie is playing 45 minutes,' Wolves boss Ståle Solbakken told Sky Sports yesterday.

He continued: 'Georg Margreitter is also playing, 75 or 90 minutes and he's been back in training for a while.

'More or less all of the fit players who didn't play at the weekend will have 45 or 90 minutes tomorrow, depending on how much they have played.

'It's important some of them get their match practice with this busy period coming up so they're ready because we will use more players than ever over the Christmas period.'
