Bakary Sako has received some well deserved praise from Wolves gaffer Ståle Solbakken.
The French winger might only be in his first few months in England, but sometimes with his high powered performances you would never have known.
He's probably only going to get better and better with time and he's probably the one player who we will struggle to hold on to beyond this season if we do not manage to bounce straight back up into the Premier League.
I've been really impressed by him and in the second half against Birmingham he was just unstoppable.
Solbakken believes he's learning all the time and was pleased with his latest showing.
"The way Sako mixes it now is better, I`ve told him many times that me and him are in a different country now and sometimes he has to go at the full-back even when he doesn`t feel it`s right for him.' he told the Express & Star.
He continued: "Sometimes he might want to play it around through Karl Henry and then get it back and go, but it`s not always possible that he can get it back then.
Solbakken believes it was a poor first half showing from Sako, but he really turned it on in the second half and probably put in his best performance since his £3million move from St Etienne.
He added: "We struggled down the left-hand side defensively in the first half and they played through us very easily, I said to Sako afterwards that the game started at 5.20 and he started half an hour afterwards!
"And then in the second half he destroyed them."
Vital Wolves Comment: The 24-year-old has been credited with 7 goals in 21 appearances so far this season. Not a bad return at all!
