Boukari flys to France for injury assessment

Razak Boukari has flown to France to see a specialist regarding his hamstring injury.

The 25-year-old Togolese international has been suffering from a rare hamstring complaint where fluid has built up in the muscle.

Since September he hasn't featured at all, with the injury limiting him to just two Championship starts since he signed a four-year contract at Molineux following his move from Rennes in the summer.

"Boukari is in France together with one of our physios (Phil Hayward) to seek a second opinion because that`s the one thing that is not good for us.' Wolves gaffer Ståle Solbakken told the Birmingham Mail.

He continued: "We don`t really have the answer to it. So he is with Phil to see if we can sort it out. We can`t set a time limit, but for him now it`s coming to a point now where his frustration is growing.'

It had been thought that he would only be on the sidelines for around six weeks, but the injury is now becoming somewhat of a mystery and Solbakken is hopeful that speaking to someone is his native tongue might help the process.

He added: 'he speaks okay English but he doesn`t speak fluently so to be able to tell someone in French is better for him because he can express himself more fully."
