Wolves have bid for Dutch striker rejected

According to reports in Holland, Wolverhampton Wanderers have had a bid for forward Jeroen Lumu rejected.

Lumu is highly thought of in Holland and is apparently valued at around £1million. There had been rumours that he could be making a move to England and training with Dean Saunders's squad but it has now been announced that our bid has been rejected.

'The offer of Wolverhampton was far too low,' Willem II's technical manager Marc van Hintum told Voetbal International.

'A departure is no more on the agenda.'

The 17-year-old who is contracted to the Dutch club for the next two-and-a-half-years has also been linked with Premier League sides Aston Villa and Fulham according to Sky Sports.

It really is worrying when SD goes to watch a Carlisle verse Coventry match is this the NEW policy buy even more crap from the lower divisions. If were looking for a striker why not offer money for DJ Campbell hes a proven goalscorer in this division and the PL.
