'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It's all down to Wolves says Peszko

Sławomir Peszko has stated that it's all down to Wolves whether or not he stays at Molineux.

The 27-year-old was signed on a season-long loan deal from German side Cologne by former gaffer Stale Solbakken.

A deal is reportedly in place to make the move permanent come the end of the season, but with the change in management things are now up in the air.

'It's up to Wolves to get me, They have time till the end of May to decide. If they say yes then they have to pay £500,000 to Cologne.' he told Przeglad Sportowy.

The Polish winger had impressed during the opening month of the season but an injury ruled him out of the next three months.

He recently returned from injury, in the infamous FA Cup defeat to Luton and then made his first start appearance under Saunders against Blackburn.

He added: 'Something is wrong, I have left the team at third spot. Now we are 18th.

'I haven't had the chance to repay Solbakken's faith in me. But Dean Saunders let me know straight away that he counts on me.

'Our future will be decided in the next few games. Saunders keeps saying we can get into the playoffs.

'I want to play in the top division, not the level below. I don't know in which country though. My contract with Cologne runs out in June 2014 but I won't be playing for them.'
