Wolves fans protest on Friday

The Wolves Supporters Alliance (WSA) has announced that they will be protesting before and after Friday night's match against Watford.

With the Sky Sports cameras in attendance for the match the fan group wants to use the opportunity to highlight their concerns over how Wolverhampton Wanderers are currently being run.

The groups aim is to provide an 'alternative voice to that of the official Fans Parliament' and wish to speak to both owner Steve Morgan and chief executive Jez Moxey about what they perceive as a lack of transparency at the club and recent transfer policy and recent spending on infrastructure such as the decision to re-build the Stan Cullis Stand and the development of the training ground.

"We`re constantly talking with fans and we share their huge disappointment at results on the pitch.

'They have delivered great backing to the team throughout all the games and we`d ask our supporters to continue with that at a time when it`s needed more than ever.' Wolves spokesman Matt Grayson told the Express & Star.

And what's this going to achieve?

Nothing

of course nothing is going to change the level of fleecing ... but it will give a few fans chance to vent, and at least feel like they are doing something about. We cant all just sit here like Waldorf and Statler saying everything is terrible you know...

I Hope they don't come by me because they will get a short response - **** OFF, they should change the name to WTSA - T= THUGS! It just shows what is going to happen when you get idiots saying in the local rag "I bet Morgan doesn' go through the front door" wow they are brave, if Morgan was to say boo they would crap themselves unless they are part of the mob! it comes to something thatour fans are even saying that - just like it is that our players have to leave by another door because they are SCARED OF THE VRY FAN WHO SAY THEY ARE SUPPORTERS! and that was proven by the thugs at Barnsley! yes we are all upset at were we are! but what good will it do protesting, if fans want to have a say - put your names down for a site like this because I know that the club look at this site and others or join the fans parliament when they ask for names like the did the other week. All Frday will achieve is provide advertisement to the football world just how our thug fans operate!

By the way lets get it right - It's the South Bank who will be protesting on friday - because they think they are the club, they think they are bigger than the club. Answer me this! I wonder if there would have so much moaning about building a new stand - if Morgan had started on the South Bank first!
johnwolf
admant you don't - you never have a good word to say about WWFC, you hate Morgan because he is a scouser - fact, you hate Moxey because he is everything you will never be!
johnwolf
he he johnwolf accusing others of cowardice ... you also seem to have some sort emotional damage fella, hating an entire stand ... where do you find the time. ps - STILL WAITING

Having given this some thought, i've decided to give the after game protest my full support. The way I see it, the more people attend the protest, the less busy the roads will be and the sooner i'll get to the pub.See, Patrick, we were wrong. It will achieve something after all.
