Wolves closing in on Jackett?

Various news outlets are reporting that Wolves are set to offer the Head Coach role at Wolves to ex Swansea and Millwall manager Kenny Jackett.

It could be announced early next week, with Wolves still supposedly sorting compensation figures with Millwall and also finalising personal terms with the man himself.

Jackett steered the Lions to Championship safety and an FA Cup semi final last season before resigning as he was 'seeking a fresh challenge'.

More to come..

I'm still not commenting until it's official, though I was surprised to see a photo of a shirt-sleeved Jackett!

How people can view him as being directly comparable with Saunders is beyond me. He isn't (thankfully), nor anywhere close to. He isn't a headline-grabbing name as McClaren would have been but so what? I'm relieved it wasn't Coyle. I may, of course, be wrong about OC and it will be interesting to see where he ends up and what kind of job he makes of it, but he may have had his run at Burnley- he was a complerte disaster at BW, that's for sure. Anyway, all the best to KJ and lets get on with clearing our club of the traitors who willfully and deliberately (and ultimately with the support of the board-they sacked SS not them)undermined Stale's attempts at change. Let's just hope this revolution is given time to succeed.
