Wolves appoint Assistant Head Coach

Wolverhampton Wanderers have appointed a new Assistant Head Coach to work alongside new Head Coach Kenny Jackett.

Jackett's new assistant will be Joe Gallen, who was his assistant previously at Millwall.

The pair already have experience of getting out of this division, having won promotion from League One in 2010.

Whilst last season they also enjoyed a cup run which included a Wembley Semi Final against eventual FA Cup winners Wigan.

"Joe was an integral part of what Kenny achieved when they were together at Millwall, They know each other very well having both worked at Queens Park Rangers prior to that.' Wolves Head of Football Development and Recruitment Kevin Thelwell told Wolves Official Website.

He continued: "We anticipate Joe is going to be a very important part of Wolves going forward.

"He is a really good fit for Kenny, and a really good fit for Wolves, and we are delighted that he has joined us."
