Wolves eye Sako replacement

Wolves Player of the Year Bakary Sako might not have departed Molineux yet, but with a move to Fulham expected Wolves must look for his replacement quickly.

Depending on what reports you read the deal for Sako to make a move to the Premier League side is either almost completed, or is stalling over the reported 4million transfer fee.

In reality however it's just semantics as it's highly unlikely that Sako will be pulling on a Wolves jersey ever again.

If Fulham do not agree a fee then French clubs Lille, Lyon and Marseille could be willing to do just that.

So head coach Kenny Jackett will have to look for a replacement with no wingers left in his squad for life in League One.

'Sako is the only natural wide left player in the squad and, if he does go, that would need some attention. And we would need that option in the squad? Yes.' Jackett told the Express & Star.

He continued: "We would want someone who has played there, someone with experience there and preferably left footed."

Really? Ward was probably one of our worst players last year. Lets hope MM takes him.

surely we have someone who is left footed, didnt we sign boukari or doumbia to play on the wing cannot remember which one but i am sure one of them can play there,as for ward he has been a good servant but was never good enough, i cannot diss him for his work rate but we have to look forward and he was one of those players who needs shipping out, i dare say KJ will sort it out as he seems to have the low down already and who knows andy keogh may have given him the nod on who the trouble makers were just a thought
