According to Kenny Jackett, Wolverhampton Wanderers spirit should not be underestimated.
Wolves have picked up just one victory in their last six outings.
The pace at the top of League One was never going to be maintained throughout the entire season, but a drop of just six points from the last six games, in comparison to sixteen points from the opening six games of the season highlights a dramatic slump in form.
That dip in results has seen Brentford catch up and overtake Wolves at the top of the table and results such as that at Tranmere really should be converted into victories.
But despite the loss of form and Jackett's public criticism of the players, he still believes that the spirit in the squad is high.
"We dominated the game and there is frustration at not winning because there was some very good football from our side.' Wolves Head Coach Kenny Jackett told the Birmingham Mail.
He continued: "The players did show terrific spirit to keep going and dominate the game. There are one or things we need to tweak and get right but the spirit among the players is very good and should not be underestimated.
"I am pleased with the football and the spirit and just need to be more ruthless in front of goal and find the equation going forward. Now we have to look forward to the Gillingham game.
"It is an opportunity for all of us to show we are a good team who play good football and can hopefully get what we didn`t today which is three points."
