Sako has got everything

Sako has got everything

Bakary Sako has got everything and the signing of Nouha Dicko has brought out the best of him for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

That's the view of Wolves captain Sam Ricketts and it's a view that's hard to dispute.

We've known all season that Sako is one of the, if not the best player in League One.

It's why of course that Nottingham Forest, a side pushing for promotion to the Premier League were so interested in him for such a long time.

But he hadn't had the best of seasons, until recently, when the signing of Nouha Dicko seemed to spark something in Sako.

"He`s got everything - when you look at his pace and power and you put those qualities into a player with his ability, he`s hard to defend against," said Ricketts to the Express & Star.

He continued: "It doesn`t matter what level you`re playing at - you look at the best players in the world and they`re quick and strong and powerful.

"Sako is certainly one of them. I think he`s really got his head down and worked hard.

"His performances recently have been of a very high standard and maybe signing Dicko has brought out the best in him.

"The two of them are inseparable - and he`s enjoying his football. When you enjoy your work, you get performances like that."
