'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dicko loves the pressure

As it stands Wolverhampton Wanderers biggest goal threat is Nouha Dicko.

After one spectacular half season in League One, the 22-year-old former Wigan Athletic striker is currently carrying around the clubs expectations heading into the Championship.

6 goals in 6 appearances whilst on loan at Rotherham United was enough to persuade Kenny Jackett that signing Dicko on a permanent deal was a good move.

It proved an astute transfer signing as he went on to score 13 goals in 19 appearances following his January switch.

Wolves gaffer Kenny Jackett clearly wants to sign a new forward going into the new season, but missed out to Bournemouth for number one target Callum Wilson.

Can Dicko handle the pressure going into the new season?

"When you get expectations on you it is because you have done well,"

"Every striker likes to have this pressure because it`s a good pressure wanting you to do well and score goals again.' Dicko told the Birmingham Mail.

He continued: "That is how football is - you can never just stand still and have to keep getting better and keep performing and keep scoring.

"I am really looking forward to it and am relishing the pressure of trying to score some goals.
