Rennie Appointment A Joke

The decision of the FA to appiont Uriah Rennie match referee for the Black Country Derby on Sunday hasn't gone down well at all.

Both sets of fans have unanimously given the thumbs down on Rennie taking charge of the game on Sunday. Referees chief Keith Hackett has also questioned the strange decision and in not so many words adding it may put pressure on Rennie due to his chequered Molineux past visits.

Rennie has caused controversy everywhere he's been, once instant that sticks in Wolves fans minds was at St Mary's early in the Premiership season, Rennie awarded a penalty for Kevin Philips in which he gladly scored from, everybody in the ground could see the intended challenge from Denis Irwin never made contact and Philips took a dive, but in Rennie's wisdom he gave the penalty which contributed to Wolves losing the game.

Emails have been flying life right and centre asking why and how the FA can make such a stupid decision, but it's not for changing now and we await yet another clowns performance from the man in the middle.

is there a fan anywhere in the PL or FL that thinks Rennie is any good? Never head a pundit, player or fan say a good word for the clown.
