Ex-Boro Boss Karanka Lined Up?

Ex-Boro Boss Karanka Lined Up?

Sacked by Middlesbrough in March having taken Boro to the Premier League in 2015-16, former Real Madrid midfielder Aitor Karanka is reportedly a managerial candidate for Wolves, according to the Express & Star .

Paul Lambert's position at Wolves is looking uncertain at the moment as the boss has expressed concerns over the way transfers will be conducted at Molineux going forward - adviser, and 'super agent', Jorge Mendes will reportedly be charged with conducting transfer activity, not Lambert.

Lambert, understandably so in fairness, wouldn't be happy if such a move were made by owners Fosun and that could lead to his resignation, well, if the former Norwich, Aston Villa and Blackburn boss wasn't sacked first?

A client of Mendes' himself, Karanka has been credited as one of those 'sounded out' by Fosun with the Spaniard charged with repeating his achievements at the Riverside Stadium, taking Wolves back to the Premier League.

If Lambert does leave the next boss - Karanka or otherwise - would become the fourth man in charge in the past 10 months.
