Boly In Team Of The Week (8/8/17)

Boly In Team Of The Week (8/8/17)

Wolverhampton Wanderers are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Willy Boly in the one nil victory over Middlesbrough at the weekend at the Molineux was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

Explaining the choice - the EFL blurb read.

'Wolves made a strong start to life under Nuno Espirito Santo, getting the better of recently relegated Middlesbrough with a 1-0 win on the opening day. Boly superbly marshalled the defence, dealing with Boro`s club record signing Britt Assombalonga along with everything else that Garry Monk`s side could throw at the hosts.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Boly for his recognition.

Full Team:

Mark Gillespie (Walsall), Willy Boly (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Jack O'Connell (Sheffield United), Patrick Bauer (Charlton Athletic), Jodi Jones (Coventry City), Kalvin Phillips (Leeds United), Andrew Shinnie (Luton Town), Garry Thompson (Morecambe), Bobby Reid (Bristol City), James Collins (Luton Town), Conor McAleny (Fleetwood Town).

Manager - Nathan Jones (Luton Town).
