Officials - Derby v Wolves (12/8/17)

The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Derby County and Wolverhampton Wanderers this Saturday.

Derby County host Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday August 12 for the game at the iPro Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Lee Probert
Assistant Refs: Andrew Garratt and Dan Cook
Fourth Official: Tony Harrington

Match Day referee Probert has officiated one game in 2017/18 showing two red cards.

He returned in 2016/17 having taken charge of 19 games in the 2014/15 season. In those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 63 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa with a total of six yellows being shown, along with one red. He showed seven yellows in the Accrington Stanley v Wycombe Wanderers game in December.

He officiated 31 games in 2016/17 with a return of 72 yellow cards and four red cards.

He was most card happy that year in the game between Fulham and Leeds United where he showed six yellows and one red.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
