Craddock Comeback Thwarted

Wolves skipper Jody Craddock has had his planned comeback from an achilles injury scuppered by bad weather, he was due to play in a reserve friendly against Blackburn at their training ground but it was called off due to a frozen pitch.

Craddock has been on the treatment table for the last six weeks and boss Mick McCarthy included him in this match because he is now fit for action but just lacking the match fitness, it`s a shame this match was called off because with the lack of defenders due to suspension, it would have been nice to see Craddock come through it unscathed ready to fight for his place back in the first team.

It`s highly unlikely Craddock will figure in the first team without a reserve friendly under his belt, so hopefully Wolves can reschedule with Blackburn or even plan a friendly with other opposition to get Craddock back into the swing of things..
