Bonatini In Team Of The Week (24/10/17)

Bonatini In Team Of The Week (24/10/17)

Wolverhampton Wanderers are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Leo Bonatini in the three two victory over Preston North End at the weekend at the Molineux was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Bonatini was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'Wolverhampton Wanderers maintained their spot at the top of the Sky Bet Championship thanks to a 3-2 home triumph over Preston North End. Ivan Cavaleiro put the hosts ahead on the stroke of half-time, before Bonatini took centre stage by hitting a second-half brace.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Bonatini for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the points.

Full Team:

Scott Flinders (Cheltenham Town), Aristote Nsiala (Shrewsbury Town), Chey Dunkley (Wigan Athletic), Eric Lichaj (Nottingham Forest), Florian Jozefzoon (Brentford), Erhun Oztumer (Walsall), Ed Upson (MK Dons), Jevani Brown (Cambridge United), Samu Saiz (Leeds United), Leo Bonatini (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Lewis Grabban (Sunderland).

Manager - Neil Aspin (Port Vale).
