Strong Squad For Friendly

As expected, manager Mick McCarthy has named a strong squad for todays Reserve friendly against Mansfield Town.

The line-up includes several players now in contention for Saturday's trip top Luton Town due to the suspension of Darren Potter following his fifth yellow card of the season.

Jody Craddock, Gary Breen, Jamie Clapham or Mark Little could all earn recalls if boss McCarthy chooses to move Craig Davies back into midfield, with Mark Davies and subs Denes Rosa and Rohan Ricketts his other midfield options should he choose to keep the current back four intact.

One player not taking part, is Lewis Gobern, whose frustrating injury hit woes looks set to continue.

"Lewis is injured again just as we thought he was getting somewhere near. His hamstring is sore and he's got a bit of a tear in the muscle above as well, the glute muscle.

"It's been frustrating because he did really well and since then hasn't really been fit. We've just got to try and get him back to that level." Mick McCarthy said

Wolves squad :

Budtz, Little, Clapham, Bailey, Breen, Craddock, Mark Davies, Gleeson, Craig Davies, Bothroyd, Jones. Subs from: Rosa, Ricketts, Hughes, Elliott Bennett, Lee Collins, Salmon, Riley.
