News On Ward All Good

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy has allayed fears concerning todays injury to striker Stephen Ward.

Ward was stretchered off during Wolves 3-2 win over Luton Town in obvious dicomfort, but McCarthy has been quick to play down th extent of the damage.

'Hes had a kick on the knee, we'll see how it is on Monday.'

'It's a kick on the knee, it's not a twist and any suggestion that it's anything more that is way of the mark.'

Great news on a great day.
