Cort Pleased With Return

Carl Cort has spoken of his joy at scoring last night in his comeback match for the reserves. p>

Talking to the club’s official site Carl said.

“I had been training for a week or more leading up to the game and I felt pretty good and so eth coaching and medical staff saw it as a good opportunity to get me involved in a match scenario.”.

It took Carl just 5 minutes to get his name on the scoresheet last night, and that has only whetted his appetite for more.

”To score a goal so early on was a bonus and it helped me settle.“

Any fears that he had been rushed back to soon were set aside when he added

I had to ride a couple of hard tackles but I was pleased with that because I came through them, and I had no problems after the game. If anything, that boosted my confidence.”

”I’m sure I’ll feel a bit stiff later , but otherwise I feel fine and so I am looking forward to stepping things up.”

So are we Carl, so are we
