'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Forward Thinking

There's a battle outside
And it's ragin'.
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'.

So sang Bob Dylan. And times are certainly changing at Molineux. What was supposed to be a season of rebuilding has turned into an assault on promotion, and the harsh lessons learned last time that was achieved, and the introduction of Mick McCarthy's backroom team mean that whether Wolves go up or remain in The Championship, the search for new additions to the current squad is already underway, and has been for some time.

One newcommer to make a huge impact since his arrival at Molineux has been chief scout Dave Bowman who this week confirmed that he has his eye on several potentially high flying youngsters.

'We're already looking at players now with regards to next season, whether we're in the Premiership or the Championship,'

'There are a team of people from the football club out there every week.' he said.

'We've identified around half-a-dozen players we are following at the moment just as we have done this season, and if they come up then great.'

Not all of Bowman's targets are permanent signings. Some are learning their trade with other clubs.

'We've been in touch with Arsenal and Manchester United to see which players they might be prepared to let go next season and are looking at them.' he added.

With both Arsenal and United being future events at Molineux could be about to get very interesting indeed.
